On 28 August 2026, the Lithuanian Laser Association will host the annual “Lasers. Science and Technologies 2026” conference at Vilnius Grand Resort. The event is the largest annual gathering of Lithuania’s laser and photonics community, bringing together researchers, industry leaders, and partners.
This year’s conference will explore not only the latest scientific and technological developments, but also the broader challenges and opportunities shaping the future of Lithuania’s high-tech ecosystem. Together, we will discuss Europe’s industrial and innovation agenda, the growing importance of photonics, semiconductors and defence technologies, as well as the role of collaboration, talent development and strategic partnerships in strengthening Lithuania’s global competitiveness.
The programme will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions and networking sessions covering:
- the latest trends in photonics and laser technologies;
- European industrial and technology priorities;
- opportunities for Lithuania’s high-tech industry;
- innovation, collaboration and talent development;
- the future direction of Lithuania’s laser ecosystem.
